In a post on their official website, Team Dignitas has announced the acquisition of an Australian and New Zealander team to compete in the Oceania region.
The team, formerly known as Frenetic Array, recently qualified for Riot Game’s Oceanic Regional Tournament and took second in the Cybergamer Premier League.
As an organization Dignitas is no stranger to foreign teams, having until recently sponsored a team from the United Kingdom until the departure of jungler Matthew “Impaler” Taylor caused their disbandment.
Of their new sponsorship team manager Brendan “Bma” Ma said:
“To think that today we would announce our partnership with Team Dignitas is simply amazing to us. We would never have believed such a thing to be possible for the Oceanic Region many years ago and I feel like this is a big step forwards for Esports in Oceania”
