The top 8 teams in the world have made it to the first ever World Championship from their regional Qualifiers
The long awaited Championship groups have finally be revealed, giving us a hint at what 4 teams will go on to compete for $500,000 prize pool in the final bracket at BlizzCon 2015. Two teams from each group will move on to the main event during the opening Week matches beginning at 1:30 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, October 28th.
The notable missing team from these groups is the Chinese powerhouse eStar. VISA issues once again plagued the team, and this marks the 2nd international major they were unable to attend due to travel restrictions, the first being MSI MGA 2015 at PAX Prime. They will be replaced by Brave Heart.
GosuGamers will be their live interviewing the teams, photographing the event, and bringing you up to date on the entire tournament. Check out our coverage hub for bracket details, streams, and a central location for all of our BlizzCon content.
