Blizzard Entertainment just announced that they are going to host a Fan Art Contest for their popular games Diablo, StarCraft and WarCraft with prizes valued at over several thousands of US Dollar.
Are you a divinely gifted 3D computer graphic modeler or 2D concept artist? This will be your chance to depict your creativity and vocation in Blizzard's first-ever annual Fan Art Contest for 3D artists and 2D concept artists in the the three universes of Blizzard : Diablo, StarCraft and WarCraft.

Blizzard Entertainment honours the winner of each of the four categories with a Grand Prize Package valued at over $10,000 each. Blizzard announces furthermore that there will be additional chances to get rewarded for your work as there will be 14 Secondary Prize Packages valued at over $1,400 each. This is a huge pool of prizes for your creative and witty merits. The prize package appraised at over $10,000 each for the Grand Prize Package and appraised at over $1,400 each for the Secondary Prize Package contains the following items :

The prizes denoted with * are subject to special rules, which should be taken into account.
| - Contest Period : The contest begins on July 31, 2006 at 12:00 AM PST and continues in duration until 11:59 PM PST September 17, 2006. - The contest is only to residents of the  United States, Canada (excluding the province of Quebec),  Australia,  New Zealand,  France,  United Kingdom and  Singapore.- Animation submissions are not eligible for this contest. A future contest for animators will take place. - Blizzard judges will award grand prizes to the top 3D computer graphic modelers or 2D concept artists. |
