WGTour has been known to host very interesting and unique tournaments since it started years ago. The World Team Cup is another one of those events. It a clan war based event in which 128 teams, who signed up to play in the tour, play in numerous rounds, and play numerous clan wars to try and get into the WTC Finals. The first round was played this past week and what a first round it was!
All kinds of teams ranging from all kinds of different nationalities participated in this interesting tour. 128 teams played in the first round, some known, some unknown, but it is all the same, you have to win to advance makes no difference who you are.

From what I looked at most of the favorites did win, but there were a few upsets in the WTC first round. One being
RSGaming defeating 
oGaming. This match suprised many across the world.Round Two should be starting soon enough. As we all look forward to that I would like to wish the 64 teams who made the first cut a nice and warm good luck!
