Star Studded WSOP Final Table For $10k Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split Championship

The World Series of Poker's Event #33, the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split 8 or Better Championship, seems destined to have a star studded final table. The formula has been established for gaining a popular final table. A lesser played game with a high buy-in that attracts mainly the most experienced and well-heeled poker players. While thousands enter the No Limit Hold'em Events, fewer players know the other poker variants as well. The formula worked well last week in the $10K buy-in 2-7 Lowball Championship where John Juanda defeated Phil Hellmuth to gain his fifth WSOP bracelet and deny Hellmuth his 12th.

Hellmuth is back again in this event sitting in 7th of 18 players as they play down to a winner Monday. Big poker names remaining include David Benyamine, Ted Forrest, Phil Laak, Eric Seidel, Jon Turner, Cyndi Violette and Justin Smith.

Blinds start at 10.000/20.000 with 2,000 in ante.
