Oppenheim wins $25k Invitational at Aussie Millions

David Oppenheim wins the Full Tilt Poker $25,000 Shootout Invitational, the first major event of the Aussie Millions tournament series at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. Oppenheim won AUD$250,000 for his win defeating some world class players in the three shootout table format.

Notables playing included Annette Obrestad, Tony G, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, Carlos Mortensen (flight one), Phil Ivey, David Benyamine, Jonathan Karamalikis, Billy Argyros (flight two), Tom Dwan, John Juanda, Andy Bloch and Van Marcus (flight three).

Play lasted around five hours at the final table that featured multiple WSOP bracelet and WPT title holder Howard Lederer, along with cash game specialists Patrik Antonius and Eli Elezra were also joined WSOP Europe Champion James Bord and tournament veteran Barny Boatman.
