SEA Major will be making its long-awaited return this November after a four-year hiatus.
Singapore's iconic series of fighting game tournaments, SEA Major, will be returning from November 23 to 24 with two competitions: Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
SEA Major 2024 will be part of the Arc World Tour 2024, the annual global circuit of tournaments for titles published by Arc System Works, namely Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The tournament will be a ‘Gold’ tier event and will award points to the Top 7 players in each competition that will go towards qualifying for the Arc World Tour Finals 2024.
The event will be organised by Eliphant and sponsored by Razer Gold, with Razer even providing the venue at its Razer SEA HQ 1 at One-north Cres, Singapore 138538. You can find more details about and register for SEA Major 2024 here.
This will mark the return of the iconic series after a four-year hiatus after its 2020 edition was indefinitely postponed by the coronavirus pandemic . Prior to its hiatus, the SEA Major had been hosted for seven-straight years dating back to 2013 and featured top fighting game franchises like Street Fighter, Tekken, King of Fighters, Guilty Gear, and more.
