We now have Tekken 8’s system requirements for PC, and it's a whopper.
Publisher Bandai Namco has released Tekken 8’s full system requirements for PC, and they are a doozy. While the game’s hardware demands aren’t too bad, its storage requirements are a whole other issue: the game asks for a whopping 100GB of storage space. That’s still about the same as Mortal Kombat 1, to be fair.
Tekken 8’s PC requirements
If you’re wondering whether your gaming rig can handle Tekken 8, here's the answer: it probably can. The game’s minimum requirements, which have the game running on the ‘Low’ rendering quality preset at 1920x1080 resolution, ask for an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or an Intel Core i5-6600K CPU. You’ll also need more than 8GB of memory, more than 4GB of VRAM and a GTX 1060Ti or Radeon R9 280X for graphics.
Honestly, the most demanding thing about this game’s system requirements is the storage space it takes up. Tekken 8 needs at least 100GB of storage space available, so you might need to fork out for an SSD or some alternative if your current rig can’t spare the space. If you’re a fighting game fanatic, the two other big fighting games this year - Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 - will take up a ton of space on their own.
