Aurora down to 3 players after 23savage and Oli depart

Aurora announced roster changes for the next Dota 2 competitive season.

Serbian organisation Aurora made its debut at The International this year in Copenhagen, Denmark with a Southeast Asian line-up. Four of the team members came to Aurora from Talon in last year’s TI aftermath, and although the team struggled through the first part of the season to find a stable mid-laner, they still landed an honourable top 8 finish at TI 2024 with Artem "lorenof" Melnick moving from Eastern Europe to SEA to play with them.

However, few teams are spared of the post TI shuffle turmoil. For Aurora, who will most likely continue to compete in SEA, the changes are happening in the safe lane.

Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon and his position 5 support, Chan "Oli" Chon Kien are parting ways with the team.

“We are grateful for all your hard work and dedication. It’s been an incredible journey, and we wish you nothing but success ahead,” said Aurora on their departure. ”See you on the battlefield!”

Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
Worawit “Q” Mekchai

While neither Aurora, nor the two players leaving gave any details or hints on what’s next for them, one thing is certain. The new season is upon us with plenty of qualifier legs set to begin next week, on the 23rd of September.

Aurora are expected to fight for a spot at the upcoming BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 LAN event, and a spot at DreamLeague Season 24, so stay tuned for further updates!
