1win Series Dota 2 Summer broadcast issues

Over the course of the first three days in the tournament 1win Series encountered several issues with Twitch. According to the tournament organisers, multiple broadcast channels got banned with no reasoning being given by the platform.

1win Series official statement:

“On the debut day of the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer one of our main channels was blocked. We immediately used the backup channel and started broadcasting on it. There were no problems until the end of the matches.

On the same day, we filed an appeal to unblock the channel, and at the time of publishing this text, Twitch has not made a decision.

On the second day of the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer, our backup channel was blocked. Similar to the previous time, we filled out an official form and are waiting for a response from the site.”

As the tournament is moving into the finals day, the situation remains unclear in regards to Twitch, therefore the broadcast will move to YouTube and Kick.
