In a completely unexpected turn of events, Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov announced that he was kicked from Tundra Esports just before day two of matches at DreamLeague season 22 was about to start for him.
While there is no official confirmation or announcement from Tundra Esports, the team has started its second day at DreamLeague Season 22 with a bit of a delay and with a stand-in for Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov. The only update came from MinD_ContRoL himself who posted on X that he was “kicked before the match.”
MinD_ContRoL joined Tundra Esports at the beginning of the new year and has played qualifier rounds with them for three different tournaments. Tundra won two of the qualifiers, and DreamLeague Season 22 should have been their first tournament of 2024 in the new formula.
However, they are starting day two at DreamLeague S22 with Vladislav "laise" Lais standing in the offlane. Ahead of their match against Shopify Rebellion, Tundra are at the bottom of Group B with one draw score against Team Spirit and a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Xtreme Gaming on the opening day of the tournament.
A total of four teams from each group will be eliminated at the end of the first group stage at DreamLeague, so Tundra need a full recovery through the next couple of matches. The organisation is yet to make any official statements on the roster situation, so stay tuned to GosuGamers for further updates.
