HellRaisers bring OG’s Yuragi at the Lima Major

OG might not have qualified for the upcoming Lima Major, but they will still have a representative in Peru next week.

OG’s carry player, Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev will be standing in for HellRaisers at the Major, filling in the empty slot left after the Eastern European team removed Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin from their roster, both parties citing a lot of friction between the player and the team coach, Aleksandr "Nofear" Churochkin.

Alexey “Solo” Berezin

HellRaisers will incur multiple Dota Pro Circuit point deductions for their decision of letting a player go from the team after qualifying for the Major.

Per DPC rule book, “a team that removes a player after securing a slot at a Major will incur a 20% penalty on DPC Points earned during that event, in addition to the normal player-removal penalty.” Additionally, “any team that competes in a Major tournament with a sub will incur a 40% penalty per sub on DPC Points earned from that tournament.”

HR clinched a spot at the Lima Major by placing third in the Eastern European regional league and will be on the hunt for the trophy along with other 17 qualified teams. Along with PSG.LGD, who are also coming with a stand-in, but due to visa issues, they will be the only two participants who will have to fight for the trophy with last minute adjustments made to their rosters.

The Major is set to begin next week, on the 22nd of February with the group stage matches. At the end of the group play, which will take place Feb. 22-26, the bottom three teams from each group will be eliminated. The group draw is expected to be made later today, Friday, February 17, 2023, so stay tuned for updates!
