BOOM Esports finalizes their Dota 2 roster for the DPC 2022-23 season by bringing on board Yap "xNova" Jian Wei, John "Natsumi-" Vargas, and Kenny "Xepher" Deo.
Just three days ago BOOM Esports was down to only two players after parting ways with their captain, Rolen "skem" Ong, carry player, Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong, and position 4 support, Timothy "TIMS" Randrup.
Now they bring on board three veteran and outstanding players to round out their new roster with hopes of an even better season.
BOOM Esports had a promising season, eventually landing at The International 2022 with a 7th-place finish in the DPC rankings with 1482 points.
They survived a three-way tiebreaker to make it to TI11 playoffs and sent the defending champions packing at TI11, but their Cinderella story was cut short by PSG.LGD, with a clean 2-0 sweep. Their final result was 9-12th place.
No doubt with this new lineup, things should certainly look good for the SEA team.
