Dota 2 Tundra TI11

With a convincing sweep, Tundra are the champions of The International 2022 (TI11)

After an unbelievable and undefeated run through the event, Tundra claimed the top prize at TI11 with a 3:0 victory over Team Secret.

Tundra came through The International 2022 to the grand finals undefeated. A stellar upper-bracket run landed them directly into the grand finals.

Team Secret took the (very) long and winding road starting almost a month ago (October 8th) through the Last Chance Qualifier, through the group stage, through the playoffs, and overpowered Team Liquid in the lower bracket finals 2:1 earlier today.

Now, these two teams faced each other once again to claim the Aegis of the Champions.

Tundra EsportsvsTeam Secret

Game 1

The supports from Tundra have been spot on with clever moves, positioning, and rotations, enabling the core heroes to get an early lead in the laning phase.

Split pushing, beautiful execution, and map control gave Team Secret too much to have to deal with just to keep their heads above water.

Tundra looked terrifying and beautiful in the first game, destroying Team Secret and taking the very convincing game 1 lead.

Game 2

For the second game, Team Secret went with a completely different draft with a lot of focus on setting the tempo early and putting pressure on Tundra's lineup. Also, we got a Clement "Puppey" Ivanov  Chen in TI finals.

Team Secret came out in the laning phase and the early game much more solid than the previous match. However, Tundra rallied around each other and their scaling got quite strong, and Team Secret started to crumble.

Once Leon "Nine" Kirilin got his hex, the script was flipped.

Forcing mistakes, forcing bkb's, and forcing buybacks, Tundra was amazing at refreshing things when they are on the back end and making things turn in their favor.

And Tundra took the second game.

Game 3

Team Secret once again went with Leshrac, but this time also took a page from Tundra's book with a Naga Siren pick-up for Remco "Crystallis" Arets.

Michał "Nisha" Jankowski took Ember Spirit in the mid-lane and stepped up in a big way that was needed.

As good as a start as Secret had, Tundra was all too eager to keep the game close and not allow them to get too far ahead — and then eventually take the lead.

With the tables turned and needing to play from behind, Team Secret started to just fall apart.

In a stunning 3:0 sweep, Tundra easily seized the Aegis of Champions.

Breaking their opponents one after another, Tundra has proven they are an absolute menace, and no doubt all of the teams will be studying their strategies and game style heading into the next DPC season.
