Nigma Galaxy are tied with Cool Guys for the last place in the Western Europe Division 1 Winter Tour with an upsetting 0-6 game score at the half point of the season.
While their Southeast Asia team is doing extremely well in the SEA Division 1, currently sitting in first place in the league, the more seasoned Nigma Galaxy Western European team is getting dangerously close to relegation.
Having to play without Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi for the first two series in the season, NGX started with two consecutive losses. The early 0-2 defeats, to Team Tickles on week 1 and to Tundra Esports on week 2, might come to haunt NGX later in the season as OG have also taken a very convincing 2-0 victory over them on week 3.
Their series against OG marked Miracle‘s return, but despite getting the chance to actually warm up a day prior to the match, at OGA Dota PIT Season 5, where they took down Alliance, Nigma got completely overwhelmed by the young OG squad in the DPC.

Through both games, Nigma looked to secure lane stability and develop their game plan on the back of a successful laning stage. However, they’ve never been allowed to get away with that. In game one OF disrupted their early game with a mid lane Void Spirit and a very fast tempo imposed by a carry razor with a rushed Refresher Orb.
Razor was picked in the first phase of the draft both times by OG, however, in game two, they also had the last pick and switched things by giving the hero to Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, while their choice for the carry position was the elusive Weaver, who was able to deal with Nigma’s offlane duo Viper-Monkey King.
With this loss, Nigma Galaxy need to start mounting a comeback though the next few series left in the Western Europe Division. They have only one match on the schedule for this year, against Team Secret on December 18, while the new year will start for them with a battle against Alliance on January 5.
