beastcoast holds the distinct honor as the only upper-division team that has not lost a single match so far in the DPC 20201 Season 1.
The South American sweethearts, beastcoast, remains undefeated in the DPC 20201 Season 1. A feat that belongs only to them. (Honorable mentions belong to Team Secret, Neon Esports, Evil Geniuses, Quincy Crew, Virtus.pro, Na'Vi, Team Aster, and Invictus Gaming who have not lost a series this season but have taken at least one loss on the chin.)
In five matches, beastcoast has won ten straight games. They need to win only one more series win to clinch their Major spot.
Only two series remain. Next up will be against NoPing Esports, a team that is dangerously close to being relegated to the lower division. Then it will be their last series against SG esports, a team sitting in 4th place with a 3:2 series record.
This professional Peruvian Dota 2 squad was created in May 2019. Just before TI9, they were signed by South American organization Infamous. The 5 players, K1, Chris Luck, Wisper, Scofield, and captain Stinger, and their extremely dedicated manager Vitória "Guasheen" Otero then went on to perform something that will be remembered as one of the most impressive TI runs. They usurped prestigious teams and smashed the competition to seize a top 8 finish —a South American historical moment that captured the world, and boy did they deserve it.
Since then there has been no looking back.
