Evil Geniuses move Ramzes to inactive status

Evil Geniuses is making changes to their Dota 2 roster, moving Roman "Ramzes666" Kushnarev into inactive status effective immediately.

Just more than a year ago, the news Roman "Ramzes666" Kushnarevof leaving Virtus.pro  to join the NA giants Evil Geniuses, shook the CIS scene and gave a shot of excitement to the NA scene.

Unfortunately for all parties, it ended up being more of a dud than a bang. Shortly after joining and the start of the DPC 2019-2020 season the Coronavirus started to create chaos in esports. For EG that meant not being able to play with their full roster since at least March -- other than a few handful of times including when they played as part of EU in the Omega League event.

This step indicates a bit of a shift into the more regional expectations for team structures that most are adapting to in order to compete in the online only events that are occurring.

Rumors are ripe that the famed Russian has already been finding a new home in CIS/EU region with a star-studded lineup.

There has been no news on the status of Abed 'Abed' Yusop who has been in SEA for some time.

Temp Evil Geniuses roster:

Canada Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
Philippines Abed 'Abed' Yusop
Denmark Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
Israel Tal "Fly" Aizik
