BTS Summer Cup starts today, filled with EU and CIS teams competing for a spot at BTS Summit 9 to be held before TI8 in Los Angeles, California.
Fans can quench their thirst for professional Dota 2 matches with the BTS Summer Cup that will span over the course of eleven days. The online event will feature 14 of the favorite teams from Europe and the CIS region. The winner will be handsomely rewarded with a spot at the popular BTS Summit series —an event that will play host to some of the best teams in the world as they head to TI8 in Vancouver.
First up to bat will be No Bounty Hunters taking on MEGA LADA esports today, June 29th at 14:00 CEST in a best of three series. Matches will be broadcast in English HERE.
BTS Summer Cup Format
- Fourteen invited teams spread into two tiers.
- First phase: Eight teams play a Bo3 double elimination bracket. Two teams advance to phase 2.
- Second phase: Eight teams play in Bo3 double elimination groups. Two teams from each advance to phase 3.
- Third plase: Four teams play in Bo3 double elimination bracket.
- Top team advances to DOTA Summit 9
