TnC Pro Gaming has extended their reach, creating a second roster called TnC Tiger, led by Theeban '1437' Siva.
In a quick video announcement, TNC has revealed they will be creating a second team for the organization known as TnC Tiger. The team will be created around the once Canadania captain, Theeban '1437' Siva who parted ways with the organization at the end of January as they became a full Filipino squad.
1437 travelled to the SEA region to join TNC in the post Kiev Major Shuffle, where they showed promising results immediately after his welcome with a third place podium finish at Galaxy Battles in China and landing a first place finish after an impressive run in The International 7 SEA qualifiers. The team finished TI7 group stage in fourth place sliding into the top seeding in the upper brackets of the main event and ultimately assumed a 9-12th place finish.
Despite the disappointing placement, the team announced they would not make any roster changes for the following season, however despite seizing several Top 3 finishes in both qualifiers and bigger LAN events such as China Top 2017 and Manila Invitational show match, they were never quite able to grasp hold of most of Major/Minor events, falling short to regional rivals Mineski or Fnatic. The team did qualify for MDL Macau, taking an impressive 2nd place finish to gain 90 qualifying points but then in ESL One Genting the team ended early with 9-12th place finish. It was just the next day after the event that 1437 had announced he parted ways with the roster.
Since then, the Canadian has remained low key and did not lock in with any roster, although that looks to be obviously changing. The new team will have to journey through the open qualifiers for any hope to see TI8, but the possibilities are always endless. It is not yet known which region the team will be located and competing from as 1437 hails from Canada.
