Renamed from Mineski-X to Mineski Malaysia, the squad will compete in the Kiev Major SEA open qualifiers with Mushi.
Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung released from the Fnatic roster a month ago of his own will and back then he ensured his fans that parting ways with the Fnatic doesn’t mean he will stop playing competitively. It’s been a quiet month since the Fnatic announcement was made, and only today Mineski Malaysia revealed that Mushi will be standing in for them through the Kiev Major Open qualifiers.
At the same time, Lee 'kYxY' Kong Yang, who last time was seen playing for White Fries Gaming in the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 Chinese qualifiers, appears now as stand in for Mineski Malaysia.
Mineski Malaysia roster for the Kiev Major open qualifiers:
Alacrity
Chua 'KaNG' Soon Khong
Joel Chan 'XtiNcT' Zhan Leong is
Lee 'kYxY' Kong Yang (stand in)
Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung (stand in)
As for Fnatic, who dropped down to two members in February, in Chong Xin 'Ohaiyo' Khoo and Kim 'Febby' Yong-min, there is no news regarding their plans for these open qualifiers. On the Kiev Major SEA open qualifiers 1 registration page there are already over 330 teams who have signed up, but Mushi’s former team is not yet on the list.
