Cloud 9 carry Ritsu leaves Frankfurt teamless

Immediately after their elimination from Frankfurt Major, Cloud 9 announces the removal of Ravindu 'Ritsu' Kodippili from the roster.

Accused a couple of days ago of leaking information about Digital Chaos from the practice games of Cloud 9 versus Aui_2000’s team, combined with the recent elimination of Cloud 9 from the first DotA 2 Major Championship  lead to a sudden removal of Ravindu 'Ritsu' Kodippili  from the roster.

Although Cloud 9 haven’t commented on the leaking scrims strats drama too much, the official announcement of releasing Ritsu from the roster points at his behavior issues.

Ritsu's performance on the roster was better than I expected and while I will miss having him around as a friend and teammate, the indiscretions of his past inevitably lead towards this outcome. His recent efforts to improve his behavior came too late and following our elimination from the Major, it was determined that Cloud9 was no longer the place for him to be. -Theeban '1437' Siva, Cloud 9’s captain

Danan Flander, Cloud 9 General Manager has also gave an official statement regarding Ritu’s actions:

Events preceding the attendance of the Frankfurt Major weighed heavily on both Ritsu and Cloud9 as an organization. His out-of-game conduct was consistently unbecoming of a professional player and although he began taking steps to change himself and how he interacted with the DOTA2 competitive community, his past indiscretions combined were too much for Theeban, myself, and the rest of the organization to overlook moving towards the next Major.

As the team is still in Frankfurt now, there is no hint for who might be the replacement of Ritsu for Cloud 9.

Cloud 9 roster:
United States Braxton 'Brax' Paulson
United States Arif 'MSS' Anwar
Canada Theeban '1437' Siva
