Two new additions have been announced for the Chinese roster of EHOME, with Bai 'rOtk' Fan and Zang 'LaNm' Zhicheng filling the open positions. The two Chinese veterans will debut with their new team tomorrow, March 16th, in the match against iG for SL12.
The return of the legendary EHOME brand may have been rather sloppy, but the organization is not willing to give up on their Chinese roster just yet. Mere hours before the transfer deadline, EHOME announced two big transfers for their local team, the Chinese veterans Bai 'rOtk' Fan and Zang 'LaNm' Zhicheng. While the two players announced their retirement after the conclusion of TI4, the solid performance of their experimental team Big God in DAC reignited their interest in professional Dota2.
The acquisition of rOtk and LaNm is certainly a big gamble for EHOME, as the team will now rely on the mixture of veteran experience and new talent to succeed. History shows that changes like these can either lead to glory or disaster, and it will certainly be interesting to see how the team performs in the demanding Chinese scene. What is encouraging, however, is that LaNm has played for EHOME twice in his career, and he will have no issues adapting to the new environment and 71's guidance. The team certainly has the potential to take down the strongest of opponents, and they will put their skill to the test in their first tournament games this week.
The first match of the new EHOME.CN roster will take place tomorrow, March 16th, against Invictus Gaming for StarLadder XII. They have also secured a spot in the groupstage of D2CL#5, which begins on March 18th.
