PatSoul parts ways with Team Tinker

Less than a month after the launch of an updated Team Tinker squad, one of the players has already left the roster. Yukai 'PatSoul' Zheng has decided to return to his former squad Void Boys, as he was unhappy with both the atmosphere and schedule of Team Tinker.

The changes just keep on coming for the western squad Team Tinker, despite their recent rebrand as Water Boys and their move to North America. Yukai 'PatSoul' Zheng has been removed from the roster, after a small number of official appearances. His departure was mutually decided, as neither did he enjoy playing with the team, nor could he handle their busy scrim schedule. PatSoul has now regained his old spot in Void Boys, his previous North American squad.

Statement by PatSoul on Reddit :

I did not get kicked from Team Tinker as some are saying, I could not scrim as much as they wanted due to my scholarship requirements for my degree.

As for my situation with Team Tinker I made the decision to play with my friends in Voidboys because even if they might not be as individually skilled at Team Tinker's members (debatable). They trust me fully and actually enjoy my company and I think that's a major part of a teams success.

When I face Team Tinker I am very confident we will win if we play to our potential.

Without PatSoul, Team Tinker is now left with four official members, and only two of them are North American. It should be noted that their European players, Max 'qojqva' Broecker and Jesse 'jerAx' Vainikka, are having trouble adjusting to North American timezones, often forcing Team Tinker to deploy up to three stand-in players for their official matches. Given the current situation and the team's mediocre recent performance, the future of the current roster seems rather uncertain.

Team Tinker / Water Boys roster:

United States Sam 'BuLba' Sosale
United States Peter 'waytoosexy' Nguyen
Germany Max 'qojqva' Broecker
Finland Jesse 'JerAx' Vainikka
