Following the departure of Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbückers, the European squad MeePwn'd has now officially disbanded.
As reported earlier, MeePwn'd was on the verge of disbanding, following the departure of former captain Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbückers. Now the team has announced via Facebook that they will indeed disband.
"It is with a heavy heart that we now announce the disbanding of our Dota 2 team.
Though there were no conflicts between the players themselves, there were feelings that this roster would take too long to reach it's potential. We will withdraw from our current tournaments (jDL/MLG, D2CL, SLTV12). Nevertheless, we wish our players the best of luck in their future endeavors! Thanks to all our fans that stood by us!"
Unfortunately, it comes to no surprise that the squad calls it, considering the roster instability in the past weeks, having to use a multitude of stand-ins, ranging from Sébastian '7ckngMad' Debs to even Cloud9's Adrian 'Fata' Trinks. Founding member Johan 'pielieidie' Aström has not played with the squad for over two weeks now, instead he was seen standing-in for Team Tinker in yesterday's The Summit 3 na qualifier.
As for the rest of MeePwn'd, H4nn1 was also already seen standing-in for another squad, namely Summoner's Rift, yet another team that is looking to stabilize its roster. Tal 'Simbaaa' Aizik and Aliwi 'w33ha' Omar have yet to make statements regarding their future, but the prospect of yet two more free agents could possibly set even more shuffling in motion.
