Selangor Cyber Games: Mineski eliminates Invasion and wins $3000 first prize

Mineski takes home the grand prize of RM10,000 ($3000) in the Selengor Cyber Games. They managed to put on a flawless performance in the tournament, not dropping a single game against top Malaysian teams such as Invasion Gaming.

With the help from Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung (who played support) and current Team Malaysia players Chong 'Ohaiyo' Xin Khoo and Lee 'Kyxy' Kong Yang, Mineski has claimed their second title this year; their last victory was at the SEA invitational in January.

Mineski crushed their way through the tournament, not dropping a single game in both the group stages and playoffs. In the finals they managed to deny Invasion eSports of a first place finish, taking it for themselves.

This tournament was the debut for the team Ng 'Yamateh' Wei Pong formed, Natit. In their debut, they showed mediocre performance; they were knocked out in the amateur tournament, not obtaining any position that is given a prize.

On the other hand, little known team Who2bet was able to clinch third place after defeating G-Guard, the favorites considering that they are a team consisting of the old players from the Malaysian Dota scene such as Chan 'Winter' Litt Binn and Wong 'Sharky' Raymond Kie Yong.

Prize Pool:
1st - RM 10,000 (~$3000) - Mineski
2nd - RM 5000 (~$1500) - Invasion eSports
3rd - RM 1500 (~$500) - Who2bet
