Virtus Pro.Polar takes home the $2500 first place reward from the Yard Red Festival. In addition to that, VP.Polar will also go home knowing that they have done a charitable deed.
The Yard Red Festival is a charity event put together to raise money to aid Ukrainian refugees. All the profit earned from the sales of tickets will go towards to the St Petersburg Red Cross and will be used for the aforementioned cause.
In this tournament, Virtus Pro.Polar did not drop a single game. They dominated all the way to their victory, taking down PowerRangers 2-0 in the finals, claiming their $2500 prize.
Not Today unfortunately forfeited their matches, and part of the first wave of teams to drop out of the tournament. Hehe United on the other hand, had a very good run, managing to make it to the loser bracket semi finals where they were knocked out by the eventual second place winners, HellRaisers. By simply looking at the bracket there might be some confusion surfacing, this was due to Kompas Gaming getting picked up by HellRaisers partway through the tournament, whereas they were two different team at the start of it.
