The DotaPit League playoffs will start tomorrow, and feature top tier teams from Europe and North-America fighting over the $75,000 prize pool.
The DotaPit League will kickoff with Complexity Gaming vs Cloud9 and TeamTinker vs Denial.EU. The format of the tournament is a single elimination bracket with all games being best of fives. The current positions of the teams in the bracket is determined by their previous performance in the round robins. Both EG and Team Secert topped their group in the round robins, which means they get a direct seed to the semi-finals. Virtus Pro and Virtus Pro.Polar on the other hand both ended up second and hence get direct seeds to the quater finals.
Looking at the previous round robin results, Cloud9 vs Complexity Gaming seems to be an even match-up, but considering the fact that the round robins were played in late September and Cloud9's recent performance in The Summit 2, it would be fair to consider the favored team for this match-up as Cloud9.
As for Denial.EU vs Team Tinker, their round robin performance suggests that Team Tinker are the favourites for this match as they were two wins ahead of Denial.EU. But it is definitely not impossible for Denial.EU to win this best of five as they will be better rested than Team Tinker who are returning from a demoralizing defeat from The Summit.
