The Summit 2 is closing in on the qualifiers as only the American playoffs remain. Four teams are still in the running, but either Leviathan or Na'Vi.US will be eliminated tonight as they face off in a bo3 deciding match-up. Following will be the WB final to determine the first finalist of the NA playoffs between coL and Not Today.
Tonight, Na'Vi.US and Leviathan will battle it out for their tournament life, starting at 22.00 CET. The losing team will be eliminated from the tournament and will have to rely on the Team Redemption vote if they still want to make it to the BeyondTheSummit house in LA. Following that match-up, scheduled for 01.30 CET, Complexity and Not Today will face off for a spot in the finals. In a previous encounter, compLexity was able to take home glory, but Not Today will have the momentum going for them after their 2-0 victory over Na'Vi.US.
In the double elimination bracket, Not Today managed to knock Na'Vi.US down to the lower bracket 2 - 0, a surprise to some who expected this series to go three games. Complexity on the other hand played out a full three game series against Leviathan in which they emerged victorious. While it was expected, considering's coL top placement in the group stages, Leviathan gave the former HoN players a run for their money.
In the lower bracket, Na'Vi.US is expected to take the series against Leviathan, having beaten them in the round robins. But with Leviathan taking one game off Complexity in the upper brackets, odds seem 50 - 50 based on the team's tournement results. showing in the round robins.
