Team Secret beats Cloud9 3-0 to go to Los Angeles

European powerhouse Team Secret has secured yet another LAN tournament participation by eliminating Cloud 9 in The Summit 2 Europe qualifiers 3-0. Secret is only the second team to qualify, following First Departure who qualified today as well.

Team Secret has shown no problems with Cloud 9 and took down their adversaries in three straight games. Secret has thus qualified for the LAN finals of The Summit 2 and will join the ranks of Evil Geniuses, who have been invited to the event as the title holders, and First Departure, who qualified earlier today against the likes of Team Malaysia and Invasion

The Summit 2 has thus finished two regional qualifiers with Europe and Southeast Asia. The Chinese division is set to finish tomorrow as Newbee will take on LGD-Gaming at 07.00 CET, the winner of which will face Vici Gaming for a decisive bo5 series. The American division has recently finished its groupstage and has yet to draw out the brackets for the playoffs, which are set to start soon. The qualified teams for the playoffs are compLexity Gaming, Not Today, Leviathan and Na'Vi.US.

For team Secret, this will be the third LAN tournament since the creation of the team. So far, the team has yet to net a title but Secret was close during StarLadder Season 10, dropping to EG in the grand finals.
