D2L: CDEC to Las Vegas, LV 1st seed in Bubblerace

As of now the East Division has been decided and CDEC have won their ticket to Las Vegas. With just a few games played in the West Division nothing can be said. Nonetheless, quite a few suprises can be found on this side of the world where Alliance and Cloud 9 have pulled out.

EAST DIVISION

Suprise: CDEC

CDEC won the East Division round robin battle, having finished all of their games almost unbeaten with just one loss against LV-Gaming, which are placed second. They both had the same points but CDEC was given the win because they had a higher Win/Loss ratio in the round robin. LGD are placed third, they had their fate sealed after they needed three points to get to the most wanted second place. LGD nearly tied with Lai Gaming and Invictus Gaming but they won the series against Lai Gaming, eliminating Lai Gaming. Invictus Gaming finished fourth with only just 3 wins in a total of seven games.

The Eastern division will continue with the bubblerace tonight, as TongFu takes on Invictus Gaming in the first match.

WEST DIVISION

On the other side of the world, not much can be said yet since there are lots of games yet to be played. Nonetheless, given the current standings Virtus Pro.Polar are now leading the charge since they managed to win 3 out of their 5 games played. The majority of the division has been overshadowed by Alliance and Cloud 9 pulling out of the event, leaving the division with only six teams left. Everything is still open, with only a few matches played out.
