The South-East Asian division of the SynergyLeague continues tomorrow as insidiousidol will take on Johnny+4. The double elimination playoffs will determine which two SEA teams will qualify for the SynergyLeague LAN finals in Russia.
The SynergyLeague continues with its regional playoffs, as the South-East Asian will commence operation tomorrow. At 14.00 CEST, Johnny+4 will face off against insidiousidol in a best-of-three. The SEA playoffs are played in a double-elimination format, with all upper bracket games and the lower bracket finals being a best-of-three, whereas the other lower bracket matches are only best-of-ones.
16 teams fought their way through two groups to determine the final eight teams that will, starting from tomorrow, fight for the final two spots in the SEA division. The groupstage saw only a few upsets, one of them being MVP.Phoenix performing rather poorly and placing at the bottom of group B. The playoffs will be played out in the coming week, as the LAN finals draw closer and closer.
Scheduled for November 28th-30th, the SynergyLeague LAN finals will feature six European teams, two South-East Asian teams and two Chinese teams. While Europe also still has to play out its playoffs, China has already determined its two representatives. Vici Gaming and Newbee have qualified for their spots in Barnaul, Russia.
