In one of the most closely fought qualifiers, Rave have triumphed over MVP.Phoenix in the Grand Final of the MSI Beat It Asia-Pacific Qualifiers with a 3-2 victory.
Rave have emerged victorious over MVP.Phoenix in the Grand Finals of the qualifiers, earning them a spot in the global LAN event to be held in Taiwan on November 1 - 2 this year. They join seven other teams who have each won their regional qualifiers, and will fly to Taiwan to grab a slice of the ~$50,000 prize pool.
Rave have been playing well in the recent patch, having first qualified for the i-League as the SEA representatives, and now winning this Bo5 against the recent champions of the Korean Dota League. Rave took this Bo5 despite MVP.Phoenix having a 1-game advantage as the team from the winner's bracket: it was MVP.Phoenix that had knocked them down to the loser's bracket in the first place. Rave's comeback victory solidifies their position as one of the up and coming teams in the highly volatile SEA region.
