In a sad turn of events, the Chinese teams will not be allowed to compete in the D2CL due to conflicting events.
Earlier today the D2CL administration released a public announcement informing their followers that all games for the Chinese division are cancelled. The Chinese players associations refused the teams involved permission to participate in Season Four of the DOTA2 Champions League.
The reason given to the D2CL Administration by the Chinese organizations was that the dates of the LAN finals conflict with those of a major Chinese tournament that is co-organized by the Government of China.
D2CL has chosen to give the slots to the EU division. The 1st place team will progress directly to the LAN finals and the 2nd through 5th place teams will compete for the 2 slots from the Chinese division.
