Only a few weeks ago, Ars-Art was announced as part of the new Moscow Five line-up. Now the Russian organization announces that AA, also known as Smile, will step back from the competitive scene. The team has found a replacement in an old friend of M5: PGG.
Three weeks ago, Russian organization Moscow Five announced their new Dota 2 line-up, including veteran Sergey 'Ars-Art' Revin. However, today the team announces that the support player will step back from the competitive scene and dedicate his time towards his family, as he is going to be a father. M5 has found a quick replacement though and it is none other than former Moscow Five player Vladimir 'PGG' Anosov.
Statement by PGG:
I am glad to join Moscow Five organization. It really means a lot to me, and I will try to do my best to get back our team's glory and even increase it
PGG is a Russian player that is mostly famous for his Enigma. People usually reference him when a person does not hit a single hero with their Blackhole, thus calling it the "PGG-Blackhole". Aside from that, PGG has been on and off the competitive scene for the past two years, playing with multiple iterations of TheRetry and TheReRetry. He has a background with the organization, attending TI2 on behalf of Moscow Five.
Ars-Art is a seasoned player that has played for many organizations, most notably Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro, for which he attended a total of 3 TIs. It is actually not the first time that AA, also known as Smile, steps back from the competitive scene as a player. After departing from Na'Vi, there was a short period in which he tried himself as a caster but eventually found a new home in Virtus.pro.
