Arrow rises from lower bracket, claims Bounty Hunter Asia Special title

TI4 SEA qualifier-champion Arrow Gaming climbed their way from the lower bracket to win the first ever Bounty Hunter Asia Special. They defeated Invasion in the grand finals with the score of 3-0.

Malaysian-team Arrow Gaming salvaged their poor play from last week with a string of strong games. After dropping into the lower bracket late last week, they have amassed an 8-1 record throughout the remainder of the tournament, including a sweep against the team who had earlier defeated them.

Despite being the only The International 4-bound team on this competition, Arrow's odds heading into the finals were not totally for them. Their opponent, fellow Malaysian-team Invasion eSports, has been performing well lately. Among the team's recent achievements were 2-1 wins over Titan and Scythe, as well as two 2-0 victories against Arrow. One of those two series was for this tournament, and that sent Arrow down into the lower bracket.

The young team has played well since then. Aside from 1-0 victories against Immunity and MiTH.Trust, they also managed to defeat Scythe with the score of 2-1. The team was was running at full steam during the grand finals last night, winning all of the games on the best-of-five series. They also showcased the team's hero diversity, picking 13 different heroes across the three games.
