In an unfortunate turn of events, long-standing Evil Geniuses player Clinton 'Fear' Loomis has recently tweeted his unavailability at The Summit due to his prolonged arm injury. Standing in for him on this event will be Mason 'Mason' Venne.

Evil Geniuses will once again miss out on the services of Clinton 'Fear' Loomis, due to the player's prolonged arm injury. Hinting towards possible misdiagnosis, Fear tweeted that the injury he has sustained may be different from the one he was initially getting treated for.
Has anyone heard of or had Radial Tunnel Syndrome? I believe the original diagnosis of Lateral Epicondylitis may have been off.

That being said, Fear will unfortunately miss out on attending The Summit which will take place at BeyondTheSummit's studio in Los Angeles this weekend. Replacing him will be Mason, who has been playing as a stand-in for Evil Geniuses ever since Fear was ruled out due to his injury.
Interestingly, this is the second LAN event Fear will miss out; first one being StarLadder IX where we saw Jacky 'EternalEnvy' Mao replacing the veteran. Mason is not new to this situation nor pressure, as he also helped EG win the gold on the MLG T.K.O. America tournament. News on Fear's participation at the upcoming DreamLeague season, ESL One Frankfurt and The International 4 is uncertain at the moment.
