Several days after the replacement of Yao 'Maybe' Lu by AllBeautyMustDie/Lin in their main roster, LGD decided to recruit their second team - LGD.CDEC. The new roster includes players from both CDEC and other Chinese teams, and will be captained by Maybe.
LGD signed Yao 'Maybe' Lu earlier this year for their main roster after the transfer of their former captain Zhang 'xiao8' Ning to Newbee. Maybe was recently replaced by Xu 'Lin/AllBeautyMustDie' Ziyang after the team's sloppy performance in official matches. However, LGD decided to give Maybe the opportunity to form his own crew instead of releasing him.
The new squad includes players from CDEC and other less-known Chinese teams. You are probably unfamiliar with these names,” LGD said "but we believe that will change in the future as we think this team has the potential to challenge some of the best teams in the country". With their move, LGD continue their attempt to help new talents enter the competitive scene, just as they did for their current carry player Wang 'Xiaotuji/Rabbit' Zang.
