Bali Major Survival Guide

IO Esports Bali Major is set to kick off Thursday, June 29th with 18 teams competing for the lion's share of the $500,000 and 3,500 DPC points.

The last stop on the DPC points race is gearing up to start this week. Gaimin Gladiators made an unexpected, beautiful undefeated run to claim the Lima Major title in March and then zoomed through the playoffs of the Berlin Major undefeated to claim their second consecutive Major title.

Now fans are tuning in to see (among other things of course) if GG will be able to claim all of the Major titles for one season.

The Bali Major has a total prize pool of $500,000 and 3,500 DPC points to offer —1,600 more points than Lima and 800 more than Berlin. Only the top eight teams at the end of the tournament will take home prize money and DPC points.

Those that don't secure enough points at the event will need to compete via regional qualifiers for a ticket to The International.

The action will begin Thursday, June 29th at 04:00 CEST with the following matchups in the Group Stage:

Team LiquidvsShopify Rebellion
Tundra Esportsvsbeastcoast
Team SpiritvsTeam Aster
ExecrationvsInvictus Gaming
