G2 Esports have received a direct invite to participate at the ESL One: Cologne 2017 LAN finals.
The French roster of G2 Esports has received a direct invite to participate in this year's iteration of ESL One: Cologne. The team joins six other invited teams in the line-up, leaving a further five to be announced in the near future. The remaining four of the sixteen total will be admitted via regional qualifiers. So far only two regions were announced: Europe and North America, with the prior offering two slots, whilst the latter will only offer a single slot at the LAN finals, leaving the unrevealed region a single slot as well.

To remind you, ESL One: Cologne 2017 is the fourth edition of the popular tournament hosted in Cologne, Germany at the Laxness Arena. Sixteen participants will duke it out in front of a massive crowd of 18,000 live viewers in a bid to secure the largest slice of the prize pool. The LAN portion of the event will take place on Friday, July 7th - Sunday, July 9th.
