The prize pool for season four of the Fragbite Masters tournament has just been announced to be $71,000 USD, a raise from last seasons $55,000 share.
Season four of Fragbite Masters was announced yesterday in an article here on ggnet, consisting of both CS:GO and StarCraft II events. This season will feature a $16,000 raise of the tournament's prize share and Fragbite also plan to use an additional $7,000 in order to support teams travelling to the LAN event with travel costs.
The event will also feature "Play of the Day" which gives all participating teams the chance to win $3,000 if they win a vote that decides the best played round of the tournament.
Fragbite Masters in its entirety (including initial qualifier events) will last for 22 days, a whopping 8 weeks of Counter-Strike. The competition will see twelve teams (16 available places) invited to participate in the event while four more will need to earn their place through qualifier events. The online group stages will be played in a double-elimination, best-of-three series in order to see the top four teams who deserve places in the LAN event at Stockholm, Sweden.

Determination Stage (WB, R2, LB, R2): May 25-26
LAN Finals: June 6-7
