FACEIT is back with its second edition of CS:GO tournament, where the prize pool this time will be boosted; $50,000 and LAN finals. The league will kick off in September, while qualifiers take place in August.
FACEIT is back with its second edition of CS:GO tournament, which will have an increased prize pool of $50,000, which is $30,000 more than the first edition of the league. Furthermore, the format will see slight improvements and also include a LAN Finals while the league expands to North America as well.
The tournament will be split into European and North American divisions.
European division:
- six teams will be directly invited
- two spots will be reached through the qualifiers
- top four teams will qualify for the LAN Finals
North American division:
- four teams will be directly invited
- two spots will reached through the qualifiers
- top two teams will qualify for the LAN Finals
The qualifiers will be played throughout August, where Europe will have four open qualifiers and North America two. The top two finishers of each open qualifier will enter a Final Closed Qualifier where they'll be joined by another four teams from each region, making it a total of twelve teams for Europe and eight for North America. The top two teams from Final Closed Qualifier will get a slot in the League play.
