FuRy predicted 2-1. The rest of the world thought Sky would win for the third time in a row, doing something no one has done before. But Creolophus proved better, and wins the World Cyber Games 2007!
After three incredible games in the WCG Grand Final, the underdog Creolophus came out on top. After going inactive and only practicing for a week before the event, the Norwegian's done the unthinkable. Retiring after his victory at the BlizzCon in the beginning of August, hardly anyone thought this would be possible. It seems the saga of Creolophus had one last surprise in store.
Olav "Creolophus" Undheim - World Cyber Games 2007 Champion
As Sky won the first game on Terenas Stand, the daring Night Elf player decided to try a risky strategy on Gnoll Wood. Going a Huntress build order while hiding his second Ancient of War, Creolophus showed up outside Sky's base with an overwhelming force that forced Sky to surrender.
With the score tied at 1-1, it all came down to a game on Twisted Meadows. The players spawned on opposite sides of the map, where Sky fast-built his Altar of Kings to start his Militia supported creeping as fast as possible. Creolophus, on the other hand, once again went for Huntresses while teching his way to tier 3 and Druids of the Claw. Sky seemed to have an edge on the game with his large Spellcasting army, but Creolophus bounced back with a hero kill and forced Sky out of his base as his Demon Hunter turned level 6, which ultimately decided the game.
