The WC3L is at it's eighth playday currently. After some Chinese-Korean tournaments lately two of the remaining three matches from playday eight are dominated by Asians as well.
Today at 3pm CET MYM will face wNv and NoA will play BeT. Next to this, 4K will meet mouz at 6pm CET. For wNv this will be a very important match since they are only ranked 10th currently, but with a victory they can make it into the playoff ranks. MYM on the other hand is ranked first and for sure they want to stay where they are.
The most thrilling match of today will most probably be between NoA and BeT as they are neighbours in the rankings - NoA is ranked fourth, while BeT is ranked third.
For 4K it's getting close if they want to qualify for the playoffs by getting into the top six ranks. They are eighth place at the moment, a new experience for the team around Grubby and ToD.
MeetYourMakers vs. wNv
The first Chinese - Korean clash is between MYM and wNv. MYM for sure are the favourites here since they are nine ranks and nine points ahead their opponent. Moon has just won the CEG Xi'an tournament and seems to be in good shape, Susiria (pic) is playing very well in WC3L so far, ranked first in the statistics with only two lost maps in solo matches and four in team matches. Next to this FoCuS is doing very well with 12-3 maps in solo WC3L matches.
On the other hand wNv has lost their last four matches and although players like TH000 and Sai are very good, it doesn't seem like they will have a chance against the Koreans.
Team NoA vs. Beijing E-sports Team
The next game between China and Korea. Names like Ohjie and Shy on the one and names such as Sweet or FoV on the other side. Sounds like there are great matches coming up, but wait! China vs. Korea? Okay, BeT is a Chinese based team but has got quite a lot Koreans in their roster. Nonetheless, this match will be intense as both teams fight for a top two rank and therefore for direct qualification to the offline finals. A favourite is hard to determine, there will a lot depend on the seedings. It can become a 4-1 or 3-2 in any direction.
Four Kings vs. mousesports
Who is the favourite? Hard to say, although most will bet on 4K probably. Grubby and ToD for the Kings, sounds good? Yes, it does but if one of them loses they will have a hard time. Mouz has got Fly100% for example, if he can be seeded against Grubby the mighty Grubster could lose, since Orc mirror matches aren't his best match-up. Again the seeding is quite important, and so is the Chinese internet.

The WC3L is as close as never before, theoretically every team from the last to the first place has the possibilities to make it into the top six and therefore fight for a spot at the grand finals. wNv and fnatic, currently even in points, are ranked 10th and 11th but only are nine points behind MYM - who are on the first place. Next to this they are only three points behind the sixth to fourth ranked teams. Conclusion: Everything is possible for any team, making the season very exciting.
