The WarCraft Premier League is today the second most prestigious thing when it comes to clan leagues, and the American-based team United 5 has just won it! In the finals, they faced off Trademark-Gamers. After three matches, it was clear that United 5 stands as champions in the third season!
Yesterday, late night, the finals in the WarCraft Premier League Season 3 was played. The younglings Trademark-Gamers with top players such as TmG)HomeRunBall and TmG)Winner were up against United 5, with a strong lineup including the Brazilian u5.PaTo the American u5.NilknarfLP.
Teams very much alike - except the Koreans
The teams are pretty similar to eachother, as they both finished on top in their divisions during the regular season, and they have an American-based organisation. On their way to the Grand Final, they have had some trouble on the way but they made it there. The Grand Final were to be settled in four 1on1 matches and one 2on2 match. Below are the results:

PaTo, Qazzi and NilknarfLP took home the win
With the three wins in the 1on1 matches for United 5, they were made champions of the WarCraft Premier League Season III. GosuGamers caught up with the Brazilian player u5.PaTo and asked him a couple of questions about the WPL and the upcoming WC3L qualifiers:
First of all, congratulations for taking home the title! How does it feel?The qualifiers for the WarCraft Premier League IV has already started, and the WC3L qualifiers will start very soon. GosuGamers hopes for two great qualifiers, and will give you the heads-up on what happens in each clanleague. Congratulations to United5!
- Thanks, I feel very good because we proved to a lot of people that teams with only Koreans doesn't win only. u5 has a high team spirit, which helped me a lot.
You played versus Wangder in the final clanwar versus Trademark-Gamers. Were you nervous?
- No, I was not nervous because I'm used to play under pressure already, and I was 100% sure I could win versus him because I practised hard, if you play nervous it fucks you up ^^
How important was this win to you? And to united5?
- This win was very very important to us, because I think we will get a high seed in WC3L qualifiers ^^ And to united5 of course because it's always good to win tourneys to show up to our sponsors.
You will try to qualify for WC3L this time as well. What speaks for that you will qualify for it this time?
- Our hard training, and our team helps each other A LOT, we have a high team spirit which will help us to qualify for sure :)
