Fnatic will face Paper Rex in the grand finals, while Wolves bow out of the competition in third place.
The battle for the final spot at the VALORANT Masters Toronto grand finals came to a head on Saturday, 21 June, as Fnatic outclassed
Wolves Esports in a 3–1 series at the lower bracket finals.
Fnatic, entering the event as VCT EMEA’s top seed, were handed a direct spot in the Playoffs. However, their campaign hit an early hurdle when they were narrowly beaten 2–1 by Gen.G Esports in the upper bracket quarterfinals. From there, the EMEA giants carved an impressive path through the lower bracket, edging out
Rex Regum Qeon 2–1, then taking down
Sentinels 2–1, before sweeping tournament favourites
G2 Esports 2–0 to set up a clash with Wolves.
Wolves Esports, on the other hand, earned their Playoffs berth via the Swiss Stage and looked like serious contenders after two commanding 2–0 wins against Rex Regum Qeon and Gen.G. But their momentum came to a halt in the Upper Bracket Final, where they were swept 2–0 by Paper Rex, forcing them into a do-or-die match against Fnatic.
Here's how the matches went:

The series opened on Split, where Fnatic wasted no time asserting dominance, racing to a 10–2 lead in the first half. Wolves attempted a comeback with a spirited 7-round stretch, but Fnatic held on to take the map 13–9.
On Icebox, Fnatic looked even sharper, running through the first half 9–3. Wolves had no answers in the second half, as Fnatic closed things out 4–1 to take the map 13–4 and go up 2–0 in the series.
Refusing to fold, Wolves bounced back on Lotus, fighting Fnatic to a 6–6 tie in the first half. They then found clutch rounds in the second half, edging out Fnatic 7–4 to win the map 13–10 and stay alive.
But on Ascent, Fnatic returned to form. A solid 8–4 start on attack set the tone, and Wolves were unable to recover. Fnatic locked in the second half 5–1, sealing the map 13–5 and closing the series 3–1.
With the win, Fnatic book their place in the grand finals against Paper Rex, set for 22 June at 9:00 AM PST / 23 June at 1:00 AM SGT.
Wolves Esports bow out in third place, taking home US$125,000 and earning 4 VCT Points to bolster their season standings.
