FlaSh can now boast with being in two Starleague finals, after he qualified for the EVER 2009 OSL final earlier this month.
KeSPA sixth-ranked Han Sang "Kwanro" Bong fell hard in the first match, losing to FlaSh's economic 14 Command Center build. Kwanro's went for early mutalisk harass, but was denied by FlaSh's turrets.
Kwanro, in need of something else than mutalisks, went for guardians which was picked up by FlaSh who countered with a 3 starport wraith tactic. He could then elegantly dispose Kwanro's air force with the wraiths and infantry army to see Kwanro type out.
Two and three was a quick set of games, Kwanro winning by overpooling and overcoming FlaSh's poor attempt to ramp block. Game three saw a bunker rush from FlaSh that crippled Kwanro's economics after having lost too many drones in the contain breakout.
Fourth game turned to be more or less a repetition of the first game, with Kwanro going for mutalisks to harass FlaSh's base. But FlaSh anticipated mutalisks, as well as the upcoming guardians. Kwanro was, in an open field, caught in the guardian morphing process by FlaSh's wraiths that sniped down an egg and eventually the remaining mutalisks.
