After winning against SquaLL and advancing to the semi-finals, Advokate spoke to GosuGamers about an assortment of things relating to his performance thus far.

Advokate as well as Mondragon advanced into the semi-finals over the weekend, joining Localhost and NonY. This came as no suprise to Advokate, who was sure he'd be able to make it to the playoffs at the very least. The Russian player says that he cannot recall a time in which he didn't qualify from a group with two slots.
When asked about his performance this weekend in his victory over SquaLL, he mentions how exciting the second game was. SquaLL had opened with speedlings out of two hatcheries, while he had chosen to fast expand on fourteen. A2 decided to go with a "proxy bunker", which he says he normally doesn't do on large maps when you don't expect Zerglings until the eight minute mark.

Speaking of Zerg, Advokate told us that he only plans on having difficulty facing off against Mondragon, who is the one Zerg he has trouble with. He says that he believes Mondragon will advance to the finals because of his skill against Protoss. However, he also said that he believes in his RoX teammate Localhost, who faces Mondragon on Wednesday.
When asked if he thinks he can beat up-and-coming NonY, he said he knows more than anything he can.
