BlizzCon 2023 is happening this weekend! Here’s everything you need to know to tune in.

Blizzard Entertainment’s annual gaming convention BlizzCon will host its first in-person event since 2019 this weekend, and it’s shaping up to be a big one. The convention will showcase upcoming announcements from fan-favourite franchises like Diablo and World of Warcraft, and might even touch on the company’s recent acquisition by Microsoft.

Blizzard has released a full broadcast schedule for the show’s events and panels, which run from November 3 to November 4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Fortunately for everyone at home, all of these panels will be fully streamed online on YouTube and Twitch for anyone unable to attend, and you won’t even need to buy a ticket for it.

A total of eight panels have been announced for the show, diving deep into upcoming content for Blizzard's games ranging from Warcraft: Rumble to Overwatch 2. Additionally, there’ll be a few other events streamed like a live performance by Le Sserafim and the Community Night. Obviously, the big-ticket item is the BlizzCon Opening Ceremony, where the company usually drops all of its big reveals at one go. After that, you’ll have to tune into the panel to get further details.

Here’s the full BlizzCon 2023 schedule, with times listed in SGT (GMT+8):

Saturday, November 4:

2AM – Opening Ceremony

4:30AM – World of Warcraft: What’s Next

5:30AM – Overwatch 2: Deep Dive

6:30AM – World of Warcraft Classic: What’s Next

7:30AM – Hearthstone: What’s Next

8:30AM – Warcraft Rumblings

Sunday, November 5:

3AM – World of Warcraft: Deep Dive

4:30AM – Overwatch 2: What’s Next

5:30AM – Diablo IV Campfire Chat

7:45AM – Community Night

9:15AM – Le Sserafim Appearance

What’s Blizzard going to show off at BlizzCon?

Let’s indulge in a little bit of speculation ahead of the show. BlizzCon’s Opening Ceremony will be where all the big reveals get dropped, so what might the company show off? Although it’s not listed in any of the panels, we’ll likely see Diablo Immortal pop up with some new content, as well as the mystery survival game Blizzard announced a few years ago. Blizzard also dropped a surprise patch for Heroes of the Storm on October 23 despite having all but abandoned the game for years prior, igniting rumours that it might be set for a comeback.

As for the rest of the games listed, it’s easy to guess what we’re going to get: World of Warcraft will show off a new expansion, Hearthstone will get new content if not an entirely new expansion of its own, and Warcraft Rumble will launch during the Opening Ceremony itself - so there won’t be much to show beyond teasing future updates for the mobile game. World of Warcraft Classic could either add more new-but-old expansions or spice up player progression with itemisation updates. Diablo 4 also has a new expansion with no firm release date, but it might tease Season 3 instead. Overwatch 2 is also already confirmed for a new Hero reveal, but could we see more PvE content reveals at the show?

Stay tuned for our coverage of BlizzCon 2023 this weekend to find out!
