While they may be a relatively small organisation within the esports world, FlyQuest has been seen being a part of the North American League of Legends community in tournaments such as the LCS – as well as some Super Smash Bros too. However, on June 1, the organisation made two big announcements, confirming that they would be expanding their borders, having signed a women’s roster for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and one for VALORANT.
This move comes after the two rosters' previous organisation, Counter Logic Gaming, shut down earlier this year and when acquired by NRG Esports, the CLG Red rosters were cut, leaving them without a banner to play under. FlyQuest jumped at this opportunity and has now created a partnership with these rosters under their banner – FlyQuest Red.
With three separate Twitter announcements related to their new rosters, FlyQuest look to push forward, breaking new grounds for themselves beyond the confines of LoL. With that said, the organisation is still part of the LCS, and with the drama going on in the NA LoL scene right now, this move can be a vital one to keep them on an upward trajectory.
For the new rosters, the CS:GO team is getting ready to compete in the ESL Impact League, which begins today, while the VALORANT roster seems set to head to the NA Game Changers open qualifiers which begin in July.
