
G-1 has just informed Gosugamers that their prize pool for this season of the G-1 League will come up to 400,000 RMB. The prize pool for the tournament is the highest amount in a single Dota 2 tournament to date (excluding The International).
To boost up all the teams morale in preparation for the phase two of the qualifiers tomorrow, the organizers of G-1 has confirmed to Gosugamers the total prize pot of the season.
In a board meeting earlier today, G-1 has decided to reward players with a total prize pool of 400,000 RMB ($64,350) this season. The prize pool for the tournament is the highest amount in a single Dota 2 tournament to date (excluding The International) with G-League following closely behind with $40,000.

G-1 Champions League will have a total of six participants, four from Asia and two from EU/NA. This announcement means that teams that will go pass the qualifiers are already guaranteed a $1,600 in cash prize.
G-1 also confirmed to Gosugamers the four European giants who will be waiting at the end of the EU/NA qualifier. The tournament format for the EU/NA qualifiers may differ from the Asia qualifier.
